We hope that the genuine feeling of hospitality someone feels at the Moot House reminds them of the great community that they are a part of. I think that the Moot House is a very unique business in Fort Collins. We have been involved in the community since 1972, making us one of the oldest running restaurants in town! We served Odell Brewing Company’s first beer in a restaurant establishment! Moot House was Steve Taylor and Scott McCarthy’s first venture, and the two continued to grow and open staple restaurants in the community. Above all, I think that the Moot House embodies the culture and hospitable nature of this wonderful community.

But Winsor refused to toss out claims that the board violated the authors’ right to freedom of expression and the student’s right to receive information. A federal judge has ruled that two authors and a student can pursue First Amendment claims against the Escambia County School Board over the removal of the children’s book “And Tango Makes Three” from library shelves. Advocates hope the legislature revives an SB 9 clean-up bill proposed last year by Sen. Toni Atkins, a San Diego Democrat, that could also clarify the law’s intention and resolve the judge’s concerns. Housing advocates worry the court ruling chips away at a key piece of legislation intended to increase density around the state. Christine Chung, a human rights officer at the Office of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, announced that Pakistan’s human rights situation would be reviewed in Geneva in August, raising concerns about its obligations under international law.

Think a working 12-stall barn, a riding arena with a viewing deck, a hay barn, and an 1867-built farmhouse with a historic log cabin. Built in 1993, the Mediterranean-style abode — designed and renovated by architect Grant Kirkpatrick — features 6 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms spread across 17,630 square feet of space and two structures. His estate was described as “a complete resort” in a previous listing and, after taking a look at it, we have to agree that it’s indeed a palatial property worthy of the moniker. All prospective buyers should conduct a careful, independent investigation of the information and property, and consult with appropriate professionals, such as appraisers, architects, civil engineers, etc. In the case of SB 9, that stated intention was improving housing affordability. After the 9th Circuit ruled on Grants Pass, putting the city’s law on hold, a bunch of other lawsuits built off the ruling. But U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor, in a 27-page decision Thursday, dismissed allegations against state education officials and leaders of the Lake County school district.

Purchased in 2019 for $9,495,000, the suburban Atlanta property is anchored by a 15,000-square-foot main house with 8 bedrooms, 9 baths, and all the bells and whistles you can expect. Even Candell acknowledged that a simple clean-up to SB 9 could render the Los Angeles court’s decision moot. Passed in 2021, SB 9 allows single-family homeowners to split their lots in two and build two homes on each lot — allowing up to four units in each lot previously zoned for just one. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac behind massive iron gates, the private estate first wows visitors with its mature trees and manicured lawns. The Rock’s house is set in Beverly Park, Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighborhood, home to countless A-listers. The ultra-exclusive enclave is home to some of the richest stars alive and is governed by an HOA with very hefty fees ($3,300/month). She talked of the threats faced by families of the missing persons and condemned the murder of Balach Maula Bux, labelling it a blemish on Pakistan’s judiciary and military. She was disappointed to see that the participants in the sit-in for the Baloch missing persons who travelled from Turbat to Islamabad were not given a proper hearing even after the general election. She demanded an end to military trials of the civilians and lifting of all restrictions on the internet, asking the political parties to form a consensus on a charter of fundamental rights to ensure protection of rights of citizens.
